Fresh Picks Cafe, a division of Cafe Services, Inc. is seeking a motivated, organized candidate who works well under pressure to join our team as a Production Manager working within a school district. |
| Duties: | KEY RESPONSIBILITIES will include:
� Responsible for the safe and timely execution of all food preparation at the assigned school, this includes direct supervision of the food production executed by other team members
� Responsible for conducting daily production meetings
� In partnership with the Food Service Director work to motivate, train, ensure company policies/procedures are being adhered to and safe work practices are being utilized
� "Take Ownership" of the food service facility by taking primary responsibility for keeping the kitchen, serving areas and storage areas up to company standards
� Responsible for executing functions of the position to company operational standards outlined in the Operations Manual, as well as complying with standards outlined in the company�s Serv-Safe, Safety, HACCP programs and the National School Lunch Program. This includes and recordkeeping associated with applicable programs
� Partner with the Food Service Director to plan and produce menus, order products, oversee inventory management, ensure that physical inventories are executed properly and that the school district meets its food cost goal
� Adhere to company policies/procedures and safe work practices and guidelines

| Qualifications: | � Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, strong customer service skills and a love for cooking
� Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree preferred
� Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in food or culinary services. Prior supervisory experience is preferred
� Strong time management skills are necessary for success in this role
