If the answer is yes, join our school team as a PRODUCTION MANAGER at our Lebanon, New Hampshire location in the fall!

The right candidate will plan, direct and coordinate the activities of food production employees. Responsible for the purchasing and receiving of food and supplies, as well as monitoring the inventory. Maintains food production records/cost indicators and plans and costs menus.

In addition this is a hands-on position, must have prior food service/cooking experience.

Convenient Hours
6:00am - 2:00pm Monday through Friday

NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS!
Duties:•Responsible for the safe and timely execution of all food preparation at the assigned school, this includes direct supervision of the food production executed by other team members.

•Responsible for conducting daily production meetings.

•In partnership with the Food Service Director work to motivate, train, ensure company policies/procedures are being adhered to and safe work practices are being utilized.

• “Take Ownership” of the food service facility by taking primary responsibility for keeping the kitchen, serving areas and storage areas up to company standards.

•Responsible for executing functions of the position to company operational standards outlined in the Operations Manual, as well as complying with standards outlined in the company’s Serv-Safe, Safety, HACCP programs and the National School Lunch Program. This includes and recordkeeping associated with applicable programs.

•Partner with the Food Service Director to plan and produce menus, order products, oversee inventory management, ensure that physical inventories are executed properly and that the school district meets its food cost goal.

•Adhere to company policies/procedures and safe work practices and guidelines.
Qualifications:•3+ year’s progressive food service/restaurant experience and passion and talent for cooking.

•Strong time management skills, the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.

•Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.

•Strong verbal and written communication skills.

•Strong business etiquette and client relations skills.

•Strong motivation and the desire to grow and develop within an organization is essential.
Desired qualifications include:

•Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.

•Experience working within a K-12 school district and/or a culinary background.

•Experience supervising and motivating a diverse hourly workforce.
