Fresh Picks Cafe, a division of Café Services is HIRING!
We're searching for a motivated, dependable, customer-focused candidate who will work well under pressure to join our school team in Newport, New Hampshire!
Part-time position available:
Food Service Worker I - 25 hours per week
Jobs include food prep, serving on the cafeteria line and washing dishes.
Monday through Friday schedule (to coordinate with school schedule)
NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS! |
| Duties: | •Responsible for the safe and timely execution of all food preparation at the assigned location; including but not limited to dishwashing, vegetable prep and serving food to students
• “Take Ownership” of the food service facility by taking primary responsibility for keeping the kitchen, serving areas and storage areas up to company standards
•Responsible for executing functions of the position to company operational standards outlined in the Operations Manual, as well as complying with standards outlined in the company’s Serv-Safe, Safety, HACCP programs and the National School Lunch Program
•Adhere to company policies/procedures and safe work practices and guidelines

| Qualifications: | •Being friendly and helpful to customers and co-workers
•Meeting customer needs and taking steps to solve food or service issues
•Working well with teammates and accepting coaching from management team
•Having a clean and tidy appearance and work habits
•Being dependable and timely for scheduled shifts
•Performing work functions safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures
The right candidate must have:
•Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
•Must have exceptional customer service skills and a love for cooking
